Bev Schiefer

As I wander the trails of our farm property, lost in my thoughts, I have this feeling of overwhelming sadness and a sense of loss.  I continue my walk, my mind goes back in time, remembering the night I first saw you, across the campfire at Outlet Beach, Prince Edward County.  I knew you were for me.

The rest of our lives together (over 50 years) was full of love, affection, family, home, and adventure.   My heart fills with pride as I remember your accomplishments, your intellect, logic, confidence and never-ending support and guidance.  You were the foundation of our family, you always made things better.

You thought the world of our children, Erik and Kimberley.  You encouraged them both to succeed in their endeavours.  You had a strong connection and loyalty with your Glenora buddies, Georgian Bay friends, University and Professional colleagues.

Karl, you had a passion for life, and you did live it to the fullest.

I am sorry our life together has come to an end.  However, I will smile and remember what a grand life we shared.

Miss and love you Karl.

Forever yours,

Bev
